Ordway Center for the Performing Arts begins selling single tickets to its 2011-2012 season performances on Sunday, August 21 starting at noon. Patrons who come down to the theater to purchase in person receive the first opportunity to purchase single tickets and exclusive special discounts (only available to in person ticket buyers).

"This season combines the best of the classics with a handful of firsts, coming straight from the Broadway stage to our stage," says James A. Rocco, Ordway's vice president of programming and producing artistic director. "Not only do we have a buzzworthy theater season, but our brand-new series, Broadway Songbook, and the beloved Target World Music and Dance Series will take audiences deeper into engagement in the arts."

In addition to purchasing tickets in person, individuals can enjoy tasty refreshments, unique season performances, register-to-win opportunities and special promotional deals at the on sale event. Jessica Fredrickson, cast as Ordway's Cinderella, will be on site for meet-and-greets, as well as a performance. The first 100 sales will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with giveaways and prizes.

On August 21: Ordway doors open at 11 a.m., in-person ticket sales will be from noon-5 p.m., phone sales will be available from 5-8 p.m. and online sales begin at 8 p.m. Regular ticket office hours will resume on Monday, August 22.
