The national tour of Waitress is currently making its way across the country, with stops in Indiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, Connecticut, South Carolina and more! Waitress' next stop is at The Kimmel Cultural Campus' Academy of Music in Philadelphia, where it will play from Tuesday, March 29 through Sunday, April 3, 2022.

The national touring production of the hit musical Waitress is traveling through the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Saint Paul. Waitress is the find production in the Broadway @ the Ordway's series.

WAITRESS, the hilarious hit Broadway musical, is playing at The Schubert, New Haven March 4–6, 2022. The Waitress tour is every bit as fresh and delightful as ever, serving up all the best ingredients of this fan-favorite musical.

The Ordway will present the national touring production of Waitress, the popular Broadway musical that celebrates friendship, motherhood and the magic of a well-made pie. Waitress is the fourth and final show of the Saint Paul performing arts center’s series Broadway @ the Ordway with just eight performances March 8-13.

Stray and the Soundtrack are releasing an epic cover song and music video tonight for fans of “Hawkeye” and the Marvel Universe —“Save The City” from “Rogers: The Musical,” the fictional musical about Captain America featured in the first episode of Marvel Studios' new Disney+ original series “Hawkeye.” 

The show still has a winning recipe, but this touring production doesn't measure up to its 2018 D.C. predecessor.

Based on the 2007 cult movie by Adrienne Shelly staring Kerry Russell and Nathan Fillion, Waitress: A New Musical is a new Broadway adaptation, featuring an original score from 8 time Grammy nominiee Sara Bareilles. Like the movie, this is the story of Jenna, played by the sensational Bailey McCall, a young woman caught in a terrible marriage to Ed, a narcissistic, physically and psychologically abusive excuse of a man, played by Clayton Howe. Jenna is an accomplished and wannabe award winning pie baker at Joe's Pie Diner, where she also waits tables with her two BF's, Becky and Dawn, played by Kennedy Salters and Gabriella Marzetta.

Catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and a lot of heart go into this concoction about a waitress with a talent for baking pies and forming friendships. WAITRESS, now showing at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, blends just the right amount of sweet and bitter.

Waitress, adapted from the 2007 film of the same name, tells the story of Jenna Hunterson, a pie-maker/waitress working at Joe's Pie Diner somewhere in the southern United States. Jenna (Bailey McCall) is unhappily married to Earl (Clayton Howe), who is physically and emotionally abusive. When she finds out that she is pregnant, even though she doesn't want it, Jenna vows to keep the baby and find a way out of her loveless marriage. Her co-workers, the nerdy Dawn (Gabriella Marzetta) and the no-nonsense Becky (Kennedy Salters), have their own personal issues but provide much-needed comfort and support to Jenna.

Delicious pies, love stories, and music written by Sara Bareilles are just a few things of many that make the musical: WAITRESS, a must-see this season. Playing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre until November 17th, Broadway Across Canada's WAITRESS officially premiered in Vancouver, B.C. with a brand new National Tour cast on Tuesday. The score includes numbers such as Opening Up, When He Sees Me and She Used to Be Mine; it appeals to those who like classic show tunes, and those who prefer pop. With music from seven time Grammy® nominee, Sara Barellies, a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson, and choreography originally by Lorin Latarrom, but recreated for this tour by Abbey O'Brien.

In 2017, Young Vic Taking Part took the Young Vic's production of The Brothers Size, by Moonlight writer Tarell Alvin McCraney, into HMP Wandsworth. The workshops led by Liverpool-born playwright Luke Barnes and director Justin Audibert which followed resulted in a brand-new piece of theatre - The Jumper Factory - developed with eight Wandsworth prisoners.

The Young Vic today announce the complete cast for The Jumper Factory. Joining original company members Ayomide Adegun, Jake Mills, Pierre Moullier and Raphael Gwilliams-Akuwudike are Joe Haddad and Rasaq Kukoyi. The production is presented by a cast of young men aged from 18 a?" 25, whose lives have all been affected in some way by the criminal justice system. The production will be staged for prisoners in HMP Brixton and HMP Wandsworth in early September, before playing at HOME Manchester from 10 a?" 14 September.
