The musical Carrie made her return eagerly awaiting return to New York City last night after the show's notoriously short 1988 run on Broadway. This brand new and revised production, now playing at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street), has already extended its run, and will now play performances through April 22, 2012. Producer Carolyn Rossi Copeland, currently represented Off-Broadway with the hit play Freud's Last Session, has assembled a starry cast for today's (November 14th) special invitational presentation of the original new musical AMAZING GRACE, with music & lyrics by Christopher Smith and book by Mr. Smith & Arthur Giron, at the New 42nd Street Studios.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the musical BARE is officially getting a new lease on life, beginning with two industry readings next week, October 31 and November 1. The Damon Intrabartolo and Jon Hartmere piece will be directed by Stafford Arima and Lynne Shankel will musical direct.
