Ricardo Pérez González' wickedly funny drama about a Puerto Rican family confronting its own legacy. Bonet has had a remarkably long and varied theater career, including six years with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and stints with most of the top-tier Bay Area theater companies. BroadwayWorld spoke with her just a week before performances of a?oeMangosa?? were set to begin. In conversation, Bonet is plainspoken and quick to laugh, with an enduring passion for political theater underlying her responses.

The exhibit, curated by Pepe Moscoso of FusionArte is free and open to the public one hour prior to each performance of Miracle Theatre Group's original, bilingual production ¡Viva Don Juan! plus 12 noon-2pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Frog & Peach Theatre Company (now in its fourteenth season), will present William Shakespeare's comedy 'AS YOU LIKE IT,' directed by Lynnea Benson, and featuring Emmy Award-winner Camryn Grimes as Rosalind. It will be presented at The West End Theatre (the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew), 263 West 86th Street (between West End Avenue and Broadway). Performances will begin on Thursday, April 16 and the official opening performance will be on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 PM. Performances will run thru May 10.

BC/EFA's Broadway Bears XII Raises $152,116

Broadway lovers and teddy bear collectors came together on Sunday, February 15, at the BROADWAY BEARS XII auction, which raised a grand total of $152,116! The event was hosted by Bryan Batt with Lorna Kelly reprising her role as auctioneer. Forty specially made BROADWAY BEARS ? each dressed in original, handmade costumes representing the theater?s most legendary characters - were auctioned to the highest bidder in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Last year?s BROADWAY BEARS raised $130,878 and the grand total for all 12 Broadway Bears auctions is $1,644,077.18 with over 500 bears auctioned.

And they brought along all their Broadway-loving friends for another successful and entertaining Broadway Bears auction, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! To the thrill of bear and fan-boy alike, the 11th Annual event raised over $127,000! Top winners were 'Cyrano de Bergerac,' 'The Lion King' and 'Spamalot.'
