Bikini Bottom will soon surface in Chicago, and in anticipation of The SpongeBob Musical's first performance on Tuesday, June 7th at Broadway in Chicago's Oriental Theatre, the production has begun rolling out a number of behind-the-scenes videos on the process of adapting one of television's biggest animated hits for the theatre. The Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department and Theatre League presents Grease - the three-time Tony Award-nominated musical about 10 working-class high school seniors, that is as popular today as when it premiered in 1971 - as the fourth and final show in the department's 2015-2016 production season. The show will run for one weekend only, beginning today, April 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. and April 17 at 2 p.m.; in the Callahan Theater at Nazareth College Arts Center.

New production images of the cast of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Matilda The Musical are now available. Evie Hone and Lizzie Wells have joined Anna-Louise Knight and Lara McDonnell in the title role, alongside Michael Begley (Mr Wormwood), Miria Parvin (Miss Honey) and Rebecca Thornhill (Mrs Wormwood). Craige Els will continue in the role of Miss Trunchbull. Matilda The Musical, which celebrates its 4th birthday on Sunday 25 October, is now booking at the Cambridge Theatre until 18 December 2016.

VICTOR/VICTORIA's gender-bending exploration of sexual identity and orientation may have seemed fresh, even daring, in 1982, but by the time it hit Broadway in 1995 it was already a bit tame. Today in a 20th anniversary production at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse, it feels downright quaint when compared to the courage of Caitlyn Jenner and the recent Supreme Court ruling finally making Marriage Equality the law of the land.
