Bikini Bottom will soon surface in Chicago, and in anticipation of The SpongeBob Musical's first performance on Tuesday, June 7th at Broadway in Chicago's Oriental Theatre, the production has begun rolling out a number of behind-the-scenes videos on the process of adapting one of television's biggest animated hits for the theatre. Now in its fifth year in London's West End, the Royal Shakespeare Company's award-winning production of Matilda The Musical has announced that Zaris-Angel Hator, Clara Read and Emily-May Stephenson are to join Evie Hone in the title role from 15 March 2016.

Set to soar through December 20 at the award-winning not-for-profit theatre, Maltz Jupiter, the electrifying blockbuster follows the story of Billy, the youngest child of a blue-collar family who discovers his unlikely and extraordinary gift for ballet. Juxtaposed against the backdrop of the UK miners' strike of 1984, Billy's only escape may be the prestigious Royal Ballet School, a place no working-class boy has ever gone.
