Top artists from the entertainment community will come together on June 10, 2010 as AFI presents the 38th AFI Life Achievement Award - the highest honor for a career in film -- to acclaimed director Mike Nichols. Variety is reporting Morgan Freeman will be awarded the Board of Governors Award from the American Society of Cinematographers. The award will be given at the 2010 ASC Awards for Outstanding Cinematography Award Ceremony on February 27th.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman and directed by Ryan White will play its final show on February 20th at the Maverick Theater in Fullerton, CA.

The New York Times is reporting that Producer Ken Davenport (Oleanna, 13, Altar Boyz, Awesome 80s Prom) is behind a new stage revival of Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. He, alongside director David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?) are in the process of seeking out a lead to star as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in the production in a 2010-2011 revival on Broadway. This production will be the first revival since 1991, when it played the Music Box Theatre. Tom Hulce originated the role on stage in 1989. Tom Cruise famously took the role to the silver screen in 1991.
