Sean Hayes, set to make his Broadway debut with Kristin Chenoweth in the revival of PROMISES, PROMISES, talked to 'The Advocate' in a recent interview about his sexual orientation. Hayes, who played the flamboyant Jack McFarland on the popular show 'Will and Grace,' has been somewhat cautious about the topic in the past.

Sally Kellerman, the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominated actress and singer who created the infamous role of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" O'Holuihan in Robert Altman's classic film, "M*A*SH," will appear as a vocal soloist on Monday, March 15, 2010 in the American Jazz Institute's Live From Vicky's Supper Club Series presentation of "An Evening With Sally Kellerman" at Vicky's of Santa Fe; 45-100 Club Drive; Indian Wells, CA 92210. The New York Times is reporting that Producer Ken Davenport (Oleanna, 13, Altar Boyz, Awesome 80s Prom) is behind a new stage revival of Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. He, alongside director David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?) are in the process of seeking out a lead to star as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in the production in a 2010-2011 revival on Broadway. This production will be the first revival since 1991, when it played the Music Box Theatre. Tom Hulce originated the role on stage in 1989. Tom Cruise famously took the role to the silver screen in 1991.

The 21st Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will present Morgan Freeman with the Career Achievement Award for Acting. Presented by Cartier, the Awards Gala will kick off the 2010 awards season on Tuesday, January 5 at the Palm Springs Convention Center and will be hosted by 'Entertainment Tonight's' Mary Hart. The Festival runs January 5-18.

It is not typecasting: James Spader just has an affinity for playing the ruthless characters, according to the New York Times. And, the role of the slick lawyer, Jack Lawson, in David Mamet's RACE, Spader is right up Spader's alley, after having played several sleazy film roles, including Steff in Pretty In Pink and protagonist roles in Sex, Lies and Video Tape, Crash, and The Secretary. His latest endeavor, starring as yet another slime ball on 'Boston Legal', a role which won him three Emmys.
