The ManDoki Soulmates are an unparalleled band of GRAMMY -winning rock and jazz music greats including Leslie Mandoki, Bobby Kimball (Toto), John Helliwell and Mark Hart (Supertramp and Crowded House), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earth Band), Klaus Doldinger (Passport), Nick Van Eede (Cutting Crew), Bill Evans, Randy Brecker, Till Br nner, Cory Henry and Julia Mandoki. The 'Wings of Freedom' charity concert will benefit the MusiCares foundation, which supports members of the music community in need.

When I found out John Mayall "The Godfather of British Blues" was going to be at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica on Friday, August 25, I rushed to get tickets to be in the presence of the man who directly influenced generations of the greatest musicians of all time during his impressive musical career spanning more than 50 years. What a treat it was to listen as Mayall, along with Jay Davenport on drums and Greg Rzab on bass, delivered a career retrospective with new slants and sounds to showcase his monumental life as a master of blues music.

The March lineup at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, kicks off with local soulful songwriter, Ron Artis II & The Truth, the Waikiki Edition of Revive the Live and Austin favorite Sharon Bourbonnais. Comedy is king when local funnyman Andy Bumatai graces the stage. Blue Note Hawaii welcomes back one of its favorite artists, jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, followed by groundbreaking Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi, joined on drums by the incomparable Simon Phillips (TOTO, The Who, Judas Priest) and the legendary Blood, Sweat & Tears. Other fantastic shows include a Tribute to Chuck Mangione with Mike Lewis and Friends, Tak Matsumoto with Daniel Ho, Willie K, the Hotclub of Hulaville in an evening of Gypsy Jazz with a Tribute to Django Reinhardt, the Steve Kimock Band, and the 25th Anniversary of the original Hawaiian Style Band.
