Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical will welcome seven new cast members to the class on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Rocking their way to Broadway will be Montgomery Lamb as 'Katie' the bassist, Jim Kaplan as 'Lawrence' the keyboardist, Sarah Walsh as 'Marcy,' Iggy Rosado as 'Mason,'Madalen Yarbrough Mills as 'Sophie,' Madison Elizabeth Lagares as 'Shonelle,' and Katie Greendorfer as 'Madison.' Current cast member Gabrielle Greene will assume the role of 'Tomika.'

The Locketeer is an adaptation of Elias Canetti's play from 1956, The Numbered wherein a nameless future state claims its power by imposing life spans on its citizens. This competition for status causes social paranoia and a tragicomic refusal of facts. The adaptation will be devised with the ensemble.

First Book On The National Park For The Arts to Be Released

The first book about Weir Farm National Historic Site, Connecticut's first national park unit and the only one dedicated to American painting, will be authored by Xiomaro, the park's Visiting Artist, in a deal he signed with Arcadia Publishing. About 150 of Xiomaro's photographs will be accompanied with captions that, he explains, 'tells the big story of a small park.' The 60-acre site, nestled in Wilton and Ridgefield, is where J. Alden Weir (1852-1919), the father of American Impressionist painting, lived and created iconic works now seen at the Met, the Smithsonian and other world-class museums.

Mark A. Schlegel, aged 57, a longtime resident of Oradell, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 13th. Born in Peoria, Illinois, Mark graduated from Plymouth High School in Indiana, and received a communications degree from DePauw University in 1981.

It is a simple premise: Two candidates in a pharmaceutical drug trial fall in love, but is their chemistry real, or induced? This scientific debate is the subject of Lucy Prebble's THE EFFECT, now in its New England Premiere at Gloucester Stage Company. Under the direction of Sam Weisman, the play stars Lindsay Crouse as Dr. Lorna James and Brad Hall as Dr. Toby Sealey, a pair with a past, along with Susannah Hoffman and Mickey Solis as the volunteers who may have a future. Both relationships contribute talking points on either side of the discourse that fuels the drama, but the playwright leaves enough doubt to allow the viewer to wrestle with the conclusion.
