Lambda Literary is pleased to announce that John Waters will receive Lambda's Trustee Award for Excellence in Literature an Rita Mae Brown will receive the Pioneer Award at the 27th Annual Lambda Literary Awards ('Lammys'). Waters and Brown will be honored along with the winning authors of 24 separate LGBT literary categories as determined by over 90 judges. The Lammys bring together over 450 attendees, sponsors and celebrities to celebrate excellence in LGBT literature, making it the most glamorous and prestigious LGBT literary event in the world. Popular TV star Sally Struthers returns to the dinner theatre after her leading role in HELLO, DOLLY! and a turn in THE FULL MONTY. This time, Struthers sexes up her comic turn as office snitch Roz in the workplace and women's lib musical comedy based on the hit movie. Dolly Parton watches over the show (sort of) and provides the pleasant score.

The Ziegfeld Theater will welcome guest artist and local celebrity J. Michael Bailey to lead its production of LES MISERABLES in the role of Jean Valjean. J. Michael boasts his name on a short list of actors who have performed the role professionally, having recently performed it to critical acclaim at the Utah Shakespeare Festival in 2013. Bailey grew up in Clinton, Utah, and graduated from Weber State University in musical performance. He has since spent the last twenty years performing around the country.
