"THANK YOU…NEXT", a mockumentary web series that follows a disconcerting creative team as they attempt to cast a Broadway-bound musical of the 1999 film 'Boys Don't Cry', dominated the Mockumentary Category at the 2011 LA Web Series Festival with a total of six awards.

'THANK YOU...NEXT', a new web series created by Ben Gettinger and Raymond J. Lee, is proud to announce that it is among 30 new web series accepted into the Second Annual Los Angeles Web Series Festival, held in Los Angeles at Stage 52 between March 25 - 27, 2011. Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others. Also on-hand was Josh Lucas, James Wesley, Brad Oscar, Matthew Settle, Seth Rudetsky, The Glamazons among others. Brooke Shields, the internationally-acclaimed model and film, television and Broadway star, headlined the Broadway in South Africa (BSA) charity event last night, October 28, in New York City. Shields, a constant supporter of children's causes, joined a host of Broadway and New York City artists in donating their time and talents to support BSA's efforts toward providing children, from South Africa's neediest communities, with necessary life skills through arts education. The event took place at The Box and featured an evening of songs, dance and many surprise, vaudeville-style variety acts, typical of late-night shows produced at the lower east side hotspot.
