The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) and the County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA) are celebrating 16 years of producing the Lawyer Play Fundraiser with Parfumerie, a comedy adapted by E.P. Dowdall from the original by Miklos Laszlo.
At 6:00pm this evening, Artistic Director Eric Coates, Managing Director Hugh Neilson and associated artists took to the stage at the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre to introduce GCTC's new season for 2015-2016. Eric Coates is passionate about programming Canadian playwrights and developing new works and this season is no different.
Rosa LaBorde's new play may be called Like Wolves, but Great Canadian Theatre Company audiences gave the lion's share during the play's 18 day run in Ottawa from June 4-23. The critically acclaimed and dramatic black comedy raised almost $13,500 through audience collections in support of the Actors' Fund of Canada.
