South Bend Civic Theatre to Present Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS

Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features many of Irving Berlin's finest songs showcased in a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. World War II veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have become a successful song-and-dance team. When they meet a duo of beautiful singing sisters, they follow them to a Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, run by their former army commander. Featuring dazzling standards such as "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano, "How Deep is the Ocean," this show will have you dreaming of a "White Christmas."

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre to Present BACK PORCH SWING, 11/21 & 11/23

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional Theatre in Residence at the Oakes Center in Summit presents the musical group Marquee Five in their new cabaret performance, Back Porch Swing. Marquee Five has been called 'The Manhattan Transfer for the new Millennium' and will appear at Dreamcatcher on Friday, November 21 at 8 pm and Sunday, November 23 at 2 pm.

Jessica Molaskey bravely walked to the Cafe Carlyle stage albeit with one crutch and the guidance of husband John Pizzarelli. Her replacement for the other evening when she injured her back, Bucky Pizzarelli was now in Colorado on a gig and John & Jessica were embarking on their 8th season of Cafe Carlyle performances. Sheffield Theatres Sets Full 2015 Season

The season begins with a real treat for dance fans as Moscow City Ballet bring their breathtaking production of Swan Lake to the stage from Tuesday 6 - Saturday 10 January and Northern Ballet return to the Lyceum with their adaptation of Emily Bronte's romantic masterpiece Wuthering Heights (Wed 18 - Sat 21 March) with music by Claude-Michel Schonberg (Les Miserables).

The cast of White Christmas launched the Christmas windows at Fenwick of Bond Street in London yesterday, 29 October 2014. The cast, led by Aled Jones, Tom Chambers, Wendi Peters, Graham Cole, Rachel Stanley and Louise Bowden, performed the London premiere of the title number from the show to crowds on Bond Street. 13th Street Repertory Theater's IRVING BERLIN RAGTIME REVUE to Open 11/9

When ASCAP Award-winning writer/director Chip Deffaa's "The Irving Berlin Ragtime Revue" opens November 9th at the 13th Street Repertory Theater (50 W. 13th Street, NYC), it will include some Berlin rarities and rediscoveries unheard in a century, including some never-recorded Berlin numbers.

Kate Baldwin, Jason Danieley, Heidi Blickenstaff & More Set for 92Y's LYRICS & LYRICISTS 2015

2Y announces casting for Lyrics & Lyricists 2015, the 45th season of the acclaimed American Songbook series. Cady Huffman, Liz Callaway, Kate Baldwin, Peter Cincotti and Jason Danieley are among the performers interpreting the works of Stephen Sondheim; Irving Berlin; Sheldon Harnick; and such songwriters as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein, who so eloquently illuminated New York City's essence in song. Mitzi Gaynor makes a special guest appearance for the show on Hollywood's Leading Ladies - only the fourth time the legendary entertainer has performed in New York City.

Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to the Majestic Theatre for eight performances, June 9-14, 2015. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, October 31.

THEATER BOYS Being Recorded for Three Projects

Audiences attending the musical comedy 'Theater Boys' at the 13th Street Repertory Theater might notice a camera or two--or three!--filming this week. Brian Gari is shooting an archival video of the entire two-hour show; Sam Donnenberg continues on-location shooting for his documentary about the making of the show, 'For the Theater'; and award-winning independent filmmaker Max Galassi, from Newtown, Connecticut, will be shooting a short film in connection with the show.

Today, Hillbarn Theatre Executive Artistic Director Dan Demers announced major changes and events coming soon to the Peninsula's premier community theatre company including a three-phase renovation project and the launching of a brand new website. In addition, Hillbarn Theatre will hold the 26th Annual BRAVO! Awards on Saturday, November 8, 2014. The BRAVO! HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN to Make World Premiere at the Geffen, 11/11-12/21

Los Angeles favorite Hershey Felder returns to the Geffen Playhouse in Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin. The production is directed by Trevor Hay, who has collaborated with the performer and creator on An American Story, Abe Lincoln's Piano, Hershey Felder as Franz Liszt and The Pianist of Willesden Lane. Previews for Irving Berlin begin on November 11, the press opening will be on November 19 and the production is currently scheduled to close on December 21, 2014.
