Jessica Molaskey bravely walked to the Cafe Carlyle stage albeit with one crutch and the guidance of husband John Pizzarelli. Her replacement for the other evening when she injured her back, Bucky Pizzarelli was now in Colorado on a gig and John & Jessica were embarking on their 8th season of Cafe Carlyle performances. Check out the photos of the evening below!

They are not just a case of practice makes perfect. In their new show titled Grownup Songs, the musical sophistication, artistry and creativity of this couple raised the bar again to new jazz/pop heights. They have become masters at weaving generationally distanced songs together, as they did with Irving Berlin's "Count Your Blessings" and Jonathan Larson's "Seasons of Love."
