'Bloop, Bleep?' 92Y's 48th season of Lyrics & Lyricists culminates with a look at the lesser-known side of Loesser - his Hollywood career collaborating with such composers as Hoagy Carmichael, Jule Style, Burton Lane and Jimmy McHugh - as well as a fresh look at songs from Guys and Dolls and his Broadway best, in Frank Loesser: Lyricist. L&L favorite David Loud, who most recently helmed acclaimed shows celebrating Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter, returns as artistic director and host, with a cast featuring Farah Alvin (It Shoulda Been You, Nine); Lewis Cleale (The Book of Mormon, Spamalot); Laura Darrell (Encores! The Golden Apple; The Vineyard Theater Kid Victory); Samantha Massell (Fiddler on the Roof); and James Snyder (In Transit, If/Then, Encores! Grand Hotel).

With help from a grant graciously provided by The Robert and Dorothy Goldberg Foundation, Maine State Music Theatre will bring two shows ("Cinderella" and "I Love a Piano") to Fryeburg Academy. Both shows are scheduled to perform on Saturday, June 9 at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center.

Hollywood Pantages Theatre has announced that The 20th Anniversary production of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning landmark rock musical written by Jonathan Larson, will return to Los Angeles at Hollywood Pantages Theatre for one week only, July 9 - 14, 2019.
Goodspeed is assembling a stellar cast for Cyrano an inspired new take on the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage will develop the title role and film actress Haley Bennett will play Roxanne in this bold new musical. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. This exciting musical is adapted by Erica Schmidt in collaboration with members of the Grammy Award-winning indie alternative band The National. Cyrano will run August 3 - September 2, 2018 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Walnut Street Theatre will host an exclusive one-night-only concert as this year's annual Gala. The concert, America Sings!, features several Walnut favorites performing over 20 American and Broadway standards. The concert will take place on the Walnut's mainstage on Friday, May 4 at 7:00PM.
Florida Studio Theatre announces its 5th Summer Cabaret Season with three delightfully inventive music revues. Carole's Kings kicks off the season with laughter and smooth harmonies in a unique tribute to one of America's most beloved singer-songwriters, Carole King.
