Hershey Felder's Great American Songbook Sing-Along Comes to The Royal George Theatre For One Night Only
Hershey Felder Presents announces a special one-night-only musical event Hershey Felder's Great American Songbook Sing-Along. Felder, who is performing Our Great Tchaikovsky through May 13th at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Upstairs will lead audiences through 100 years of American music from George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, to Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, and many more.
Hershey Felder's Great American Songbook Sing-Along will be presented 7:30pm, May 12, 2018 at THE ROYAL GEORGE THEATRE, 1641 N. Halsted, directly across from Steppenwolf. Final Our Great Tchaikovsky performances will resume on Sunday May 13th. Tickets ($60) are currently on sale at the Royal George Theatre. From his very first performance of Gershwin Alone, it became clear to Felder that once the audience heard familiar notes from beloved classics, they wanted to join in, and thus his sing-alongs were born, and his since become a nationwide favorite being presented in every theatre where Felder appears as his musical characters, as a one-night-only special presentation.
