“Dancing with the Stars” is waltzing its way into its upcoming season, and the new celebrity cast is adding some glitzy bling to their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off MONDAY, SEPT. 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. This season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes an “American Idol” mentor, the first-ever blind contestant to take part in the show, an alumnus from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a Duke of Hazzard, an Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast and a Bachelor Nation favorite, among others.

Theatre production company Parity Productions has released its monthly list of Qualifying Productions for September -their popular directory of New York City shows in which the individual creative teams have 50% of the positions filled with women and transgender artists (directors, designers, and playwrights). 

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present Broadway leading lady Rita Harvey in her concert evening "Heart Like A Wheel - A Tribute to the Music of Linda Ronstadt" on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00 PM.

Irish Repertory Theatre, the New York home for Irish and Irish-American theatre, will celebrate their 30th Anniversary this fall with a special public block party. The event, which is free and open to all ages, will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, 30 years to the day from the first-ever Irish Rep performance. Featured performers at the block party will include Tony Award winner Bill Irwin (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) and Leeyna Rideout (War Horse), each of whom have conceived and will star in their own respective solo shows at Irish Rep this fall.

After appearing together nationwide in symphony concerts and being paired as co-stars in two hit New York productions - first, Stephen Sondheim's dark and emotional Passion at Classic Stage Company, followed by Yip Harburg & Burton Lane's delicious and politically-edged fairy tale Finian's Rainbow at Irish Repertory Theatre, Melissa Errico and Ryan Silverman just offered their first duo show together at Feinstein's/54 Below, "Broadway Romance" which played to sold-out crowds last week on August 6 & 7.

He's back! But don't worry, we're totally chill about it because this week we're sharing some laughs and some drinks with #FriendoftheShow and star of Be More Chill Will Roland! We're pouring out MANCAN, Tangueray, and Tanteo Jalapeno Tequila while Will spills about flugabones, angler fish, and 'playing nice with the other kids at school.'

Irish Repertory Theatre will present the New York premiere of On Beckett. Conceived and performed by Tony Award winner Bill Irwin (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), On Beckett explores the writings of Nobel Prize winner Samuel Beckett (Waiting for Godot, Endgame). On Beckett begins performances on September 26, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, with an opening night set for October 3, for a run through November 4, 2018.

For two nights only, stage and screen stars Melissa Errico and Ryan Silverman reunite on the 54 Below stage to sing some dazzling love songs, in every sense of the word, in A Broadway Romance. I was fortunate to get the chance to talk to them about everything from what to expect in 'A Broadway Romance', and how they got their start in theatre, to what keeps them coming back to the stage, parenthood, and more in the interview below!  

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that Ben Davis (Violet, A Little Night Music) will join the cast of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER in the role of "Dr. Mark Bruckner" beginning Thursday, August 9.

The show features Aaron Alcaraz, Nicholas Barasch, Alana Cauthen, Grace Choi, Karl Josef Co, CJ Eldred, MaryJoanna Grisso, Cory Jeacoma, Noah Plomgren, and Brynn Williams. 'Broadway Celebrates New Musical Theatre' will bring to light the importance of new musical theatre writing and provide a platform for hopeful writers to work with a group of professionals to showcase their work in front of a larger audience.

Irish Repertory Theatre will present world premiere of WILD ABANDON by Leenya Rideout (War Horse). Directed by Lisa Rothe (Hold These Truths), WILD ABANDON begins performances on September 19, 2018 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the W. Scott McLucas Studio Stage, with an opening night set for September 25, and will run through October 21, 2018.

Rebel Theatrical Management, LLC (Harvey Butler, producer), in association with The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, have announced, today, the cast and the creative team for the New York premiere of the new play Little Rock, written and directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj.
