Shrek The Musical, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre - not a handsome prince - shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Shrek The Musical will be performed at Three Stages today, March 14, 7:30 pm; Friday, March 15, 8 pm; Saturday, March 16, 2 and 8 pm, and Sunday, March 16, 1:30 and 7 pm.

Students from Lawrence Academy of Music will have a chance to appear alongside Broadway performers in Elf the Musical at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center today, November 13-18. The young performers between the ages of 5 and 12 will include Nora Austin, Pippa Austin, Gavin Burkheimer, Eleanora Dane, Izzy Dane, Roseanna Dane, Nathaniel James, August McLaughlin, Sylvia Polansky, Will Scheffler, Maura Tarnowski and Annika Urness.

Josiah Theatre Works celebrates its 4th Anniversary with the upcoming world premiere of SANGIN' THE TEARS AWAY, inspired by superstar Natalie Cole. Previews begin July 22 at 2 p.m. with the grand opening set for that same night at 8:30 p.m., following a red carpet honors and reception.
