Eddie Izzard to Guest on New NBC Drama Series HANNIBAL

EW reports that Eddie Izzard will have a guest starring role on NBC's upcoming drama series HANNIBAL. The series is set to debut in 2013. According to the report, the actor will portray 'a cellmate of Hannibal Lecter.' Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne also star on the drama.

The first trailer has been released for the upcoming CG animated musical feature film currently in production, DOROTHY OF OZ. The film will feature voiceovers by a host of Broadway veterans including Lea Michele as Dorothy Gale, Bernadette Peters as Glinda, Kelsey Grammer as Tin Man, Megan Hilty as China Princess, Hugh Dancy as Marshall Mallow, Patrick Stewart as Tugg and Martin Short as Jester. VENUS IN FUR, the critically acclaimed play by Tony Award nominee David Ives, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, ended its triumphant run on Sunday at the Lyceum Theatre. VENUS IN FUR has been licensed and is in negotiation to be produced in over 40 regional theatres across the US and Canada with plans underway for productions in 26 different countries. It has been translated into many languages including French, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, and German. In addition, plans for a London production are underway.
