Broadway Alums Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy Welcome Baby Son Cyrus

According to People, Broadway alums Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy, on December 17.

Danes told People she looks forward to "getting to know our new Dancy."

Danes has won an Emmy for her portrayal of bipolar CIA agent 'Carrie Mathison' in Homeland, and a Golden Globe for her work in the film Temple Grandin. The awards follow an earlier Emmy nomination for the TV series My So-Called Life. Danes made her Broadway debut in Roundabout's Pygmalion in 2007 and has appeared off-Broadway in The Vagina Monologues.

Dancy has appeared on Broadway in Venus in Fur, The 24 Hour Plays 2007 and Journey's End. His off-Broadway credits include The Pride. On TV, he has appeared in The Big C and is set for the upcoming series Hannibal. Dancy's film credits include Hysteria, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Blood & Chocolate, The Jane Austen Book Club, Ella Enchanted, King Arthur, Black Hawk Down and more.

Danes and Dancy were married in 2009.
