The Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) has announced the celebration of its fifth year and the launch of a new online Theatre Greening Advisor. The BGA is an industry-wide initiative focused on enhancing Broadway's environmental profile by adopting preferable practices and promoting awareness in the creation and presentation of Broadway shows.

Megan Hilty will perform with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra January 24-26, 2014. Hilty made her debut with the Cincinnati Pops back in 2009 when she stepped in at a moments notice for an ailing Kristin Chenoweth. Audiences were blown away and her return has been eagerly anticipated ever since.

Megan Hilty lends her powerhouse vocals to the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at Music Hall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 24-26, 2014 with a program consisting of Broadway favorites, and songs from Ms. Hilty's new album. The star of the NBC hit television series Smash and Sean Saves the World, and Pops conductor, John Morris Russell, team up for an unforgettable evening of music and excitement. Austin Playhouse presents Venus in Fur by David Ives, directed by Lara Toner, running now through January 25th, 2014, Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Austin Playhouse at Highland Mall, 6001 Airport Blvd., Austin, TX.

NBC has announced it will premiere the 13-episode second season of the critically acclaimed drama “Hannibal” at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) Friday, Feb. 28 following “Grimm” after the previously-announced conclusion of the 10-episode run of “Dracula.”

LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN from Summertime Entertainment and Clarius Entertainment hits theaters on May 9, 2014. Venus in Fur stars Austin Playhouse Acting Company members Molly Karrasch as Vanda and Gray G. Haddock as Thomas. The play is directed by Lara Toner, with set design by Patrick Crowley, lighting design by Don Day, and sound design by Joel Mercado-See.

This weekend, November 15, 16 and 17, Megan Hilty, the multi-talented star of NBC's Smash and Sean Saves the World, will take the Houston Symphony stage to pay special tribute to the tunes made famous by stars like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Dolly Parton. Along with vocalist Aaron Lazar, Hilty will perform cherished songs like 'The Lady is a Tramp,' 'The Best is Yet to Come' and '9 to 5.' The show wouldn't be complete without beloved classics 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' and 'New York, New York,' as well as popular songs of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and music from Ms. Hilty's upcoming album.
