Signature Theatre Company's production of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, began performances Tuesday, September 14. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, has been extended a second time through February 20, 2011. Last week, BroadwayWorld brought you clips of Kushner talking all things ANGELS and this newest revival. Today, we bring you the latest from the Signature's web series, revisiting original Angels company members. In this clip, Ellen McLaughlin, who played The Angel in the San Francisco, Los Angeles and Broadway productions of the show discusses a talkback that happened during the Broadway run, and the impact it had on her and Stephen Spinella, the Tony Award-winning actor who played Prior Walter.

ANGELS IN AMERICA Extends Again Thru Feb. 20, 2011

Due to overwhelming demand, Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) is pleased to announce a second extension for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, 2010 and extended once through January 30, 2011, will now play an additional three weeks through Sunday, February 20, 2011.

Point-Du Jour, Williams et all Lead Sundance Institute 2010 Acting Company Lab

Sundance Institute announced today the acting company for its 2010 Theatre Lab on Governors Island, which began yesterday June 1 and runs through June 12. Under artisitc direction of Philip Himberg, Producing Artistic Director of the Sundance Instittute Theatre Program, the Lab will provide these projects with guidance in the development of new work for the stage.

Under the direction of David Herskovits, the five-member cast features Purva Bedi, McKenna Kerrigan, John Kurzynowski, Hubert Point-Du Jour, and Steven Rattazzi.

Target Margin Theater (David Herskovits, Artistic Director), in association with the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator (Richard Forman, Artistic Director), has announced full casting for the world premiere of The Really Big Once, a new play, created by the company, that tells the story of two theatrical giants, Elia Kazan and Tennessee Williams, and how they changed American culture. Under the direction of David Herskovits, the five-member cast features McKenna Kerrigan, John Kurzynowski, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Hubert Point-Du Jour, and Steven Rattazzi. Performances begin Tuesday, April 13, 2010 for a limited engagement through May 8, 2010 at The Ontological Theater at St. Mark's Church (131 East 10th Street at Second Avenue). Opening Night is Saturday evening, April 17th at 8:00 p.m.
