16th Street tells the stories of ALL in our community. Even the dentists! 16th Street Theater, a part of the North Berwyn Park District, brings playwright-in-residence Laura Jacqmin's DENTAL SOCIETY MIDWINTER MEETING directed by Megan Shuchman to the Berwyn Cultural Center, 6420 16th Street, Berwyn, February 24 - March 26, 2011 with a press opening of Saturday, February 26 at 5:00 PM. This is the third play in 16th Street's Season Four 2011: Season of Change. We started in the 50s with The Beats, will delve into 80s Chicago politics with Hillel Levin's WAKE and jump to the present with Laura Jacqmin's super-smart social satire about dentists trying to make a difference, perfectly coinciding with the ACTUAL Chicago Dental Society 146th Midwinter Meeting, of which we have nothing to do with, except our love of dentistry.
