Now entering its 101st season, the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene [NYTF] will honor David S. and Sylvia Steiner (joint lead producers on Golda's Balcony starring Tovah Feldshuh for Broadway and Film) at a Gala performance of the lost 1923 Yiddish American Operetta classic THE GOLDEN BRIDE on December 8 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.

Hussein Chalayan is an internationally renowned fashion designer and artist whose collections are known for innovative design, bold use of technology and elegant minimalism. He was named British Designer of the Year in 1999 and 2000 and has designed costumes for Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Faun, Michael Clark's current/SEE and Sasha Waltz & Guests' Passion with Pascal Dusapin. In May of 2015, almost a thousand school yearbooks were submitted to the annual yearbook contest by Entourage Yearbooks. After careful review, the winners are ready to be announced. According to Sara Aniano, an Entourage representative, this year saw the most competitive entries in the six years that the contest has been held. Lost & Found Project, an edgy ensemble of next generation storytellers, curates a world premiere of KNOCK: A Journey to a Strange Country, a new play inspired by writings of the Russian avant-garde absurdist Daniil Kharms. KNOCK is written and presented by the award-winning Lost & Found Project, a division of National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) FolksbieneRU. Eleven performances will be staged at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, in New York, N.Y., from tonight, March 4-22, 2015.
