Bailiwick Chicago's Season to Include VIOLET, PASSING STRANGE, et al.

On behalf of the Bailiwick Chicago Collective, Executive Director Kevin Mayes announced today details of the theater company's 2010/11 Season. Planned productions include: DEPARTURE LOUNGE, a new musical by Dougal Irvine; VIOLET, music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Brian Crawley; PASSING STRANGE, book and lyrics by Stew, music by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, created in collaboration with Annie Dorsen; and THE NORTH / SOUTH PLAYS, two original works developed in association with Teatro Luna.

Following sell out seasons at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival and the Summer Play Festival in New York, Dougal Irvine's hit musical comedy Departure Lounge opens at London's Waterloo East Theatre on 30 September 2010, with previews from 28 September.
