New CBS Drama MAGNUM P.I. Is Blessed on Its First Day of Production in Hawaii

The scene is set, 1990s Charlotte: a city divided by racial tension, rampant gang violence and a crack epidemic that brought the murder count to new heights.  But, beneath the surface lurked an even greater threat. A monster by the name of Henry Louis Wallace was stalking his prey and murdering at will: his target - ten young African American women.  For the first time ever, Investigation Discovery (ID), America's leading destination for true-crime programming, reveals the story of 'Bad' Henry Louis Wallace, one of the country's most notorious serial killers.  Featuring never-before-heard interrogation tapes and tales of devastation from those left behind, BAD HENRY is the story of how Detective Garry McFadden, the only African American on the homicide squad at the time, and his determined team at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department apprehended this diabolical killer.  BAD HENRY will premiere on Investigation Discovery with a two-hour special on Today, July 24 at 9PM ET/PT.

This play about friendship, belonging, ... and passing, follows Johnny, who is a transmasculine student at a women's college, and his best friend Noah, who is a cis gay man at the Ivy League across the street.

Oxygen Media, the destination for high-quality crime programming, will examine one of the most infamous criminal killing sprees in US history with the two-hour special, “Golden State Killer: Main Suspect,” premiering on Saturday, August 4 at 7pm ET/PT. Hosted by NBC News investigative journalist Stephanie Gosk, this brand new two-hour special will offer an intimate look into the life of Joe DeAngelo, the suspect in custody, through new and exclusive interviews from those who were closest to him and offering a gripping depiction of the prime suspect in a decades-long manhunt. To his family, friends, and former colleagues, DeAngelo lived the life of the classic “average Joe” - a father, grandfather, veteran, and even former police officer. DeAngelo now stands accused of being the man behind one of the most ruthlessly enduring crime sprees of all time and is believed to have raped more than 45 women and murdered at least 12 people. He is currently charged with 12 counts of first degree murder and has so far not entered a plea. Joining Gosk is Bay Area detective Paul Holes, who helped search for the Golden State Killer for nearly a quarter-century and played a key role in the arrest of Joe DeAngelo.

American Idol finalist Ada Vox will make her Los Angeles concert debut for one show only at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on Sunday, August 12, at 7:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. There will be special guest appearances by American Idol alums David Hernandez and Effie Passero.

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces an extension of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar.
