The collective revisits repertoire from Davis' electric period and represents two generations of master musicians with a rotating line-up. All in paying homage to The Chief. Bostonians will have another reason to welcome autumn along the Charles River when the Celebrity Series of Boston presents Jazz Along the Charles: A Walkable Concert. After receiving close to 100 applications, a selection committee comprised of educators, administrators and performers from Boston's thriving jazz scene has chosen 25 ensembles to perform at a series of connected, walkable locations along the Charles River Esplanade, interpreting the same curated list of Boston-related tunes in one collective free concert.
Park City Institute announced the addition of singer and musician Sam Palladio, to the 2018 St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series' Labor Day weekend show, Nashville Cafe. Palladio completes a lineup with his co-stars from the CMT hit series, "Nashville," Chris Carmack and Chip Esten. The performance will be held at Quinn's Junction Sports Complex Fields. The evening will include a mix of solo and collaborative sets.

Jeremy Danneman is a New York based, saxophonist/clarinetist/composer. Sophie Nzayisenga, from Rwanda, is a vocalist and the only professional female inanga player in the world. They first met in 2009 when Danneman was giving street performances in Rwanda to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Genocide against the Tutsi people. In 2017, Danneman and Nzayisenga released their first album together, Honey Wine, to critical acclaim.

Craft Recordings celebrates the roots of electronic dance music this summer with a nod to the foundational contributions of a legendary cornerstone of the genre: Twilight 22's self-titled LP, which contains the smash-hit and electro-staple, 'Electric Kingdom.' This release marks the first-ever official vinyl reissue of Twilight 22, which was cut from the original analog tapes by Dave Cooley at Elysian Masters. The seminal LP will be available on vinyl for the first time since its original release on June 22 (6/22).

Six-time GRAMMY-winning bassist Christian McBride will headline a concert to benefit Luna Stage on Friday, June 1 at the Montclair Women's Club.
