Tonight, August 17, The Screen Actors' Guild Foundation will feature a two-hour, moderated career Conversations event with Judith Light. The event is et to take place at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway at 7:00 PM, and will be moderated by BroadwayWorld's own Richard Ridge.

Last night, April 4, The Point Foundation, celebrating LGBT leaders, hosted a benefit last night in New York City, co-hosted by Kelly Ripa and Sam Champion. Participants in the event included performers Montego Glover (Memphis), Kerry Butler (Catch Me If You Can) and Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty), Ellen Barkin, Iman, Isaac Mizrahi, John Benjamin Hickey (The C Word), Thomas Roberts (MSNBC) and Marsha Thomason (White Collar). Point Foundation (Point), the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit, last night honored the recipients of its Courage, Inspiration and Legend Awards. 30 Rock star and Tony Award winner (Nine) Jane Krakowski, received the Point Courage Award; Citi received the Point Inspiration Award; author, political strategist and civil rights activist David Mixner received the Point Legend Award. The awards were presented at Point's annual New York benefit, Point Honors, which was held on April 19, 2010 at 583 Park Avenue in New York City.
