Pandora Productions has announced the 2017-2018 Season, which centers around the stories of family. The season includes: Sordid Lives; Falsettos; Harbor; Victor/Victoria and Die, Mommie Die!

Artistic Director Tony Prince and Producing Director Richard McGrew are excited to announce the casts and crews for the 2017 - 2018 season of The Liminal Playhouse. This is the company's third season and its first season since joining Bunbury Theatre and Pandora Productions as the third resident theatre company at The Henry Clay Theatre.

After closing its widely successful 25th anniversary season, and recently garnering six Helen Hayes Awards (including 'Outstanding Production, Play'), Folger Theatre announces the upcoming 2017/18 season. Cited as 'the go-to local troupe for classical innovation' (The Washington Post), Folger Theatre will present a season of epic tales of power, passion, and politics to spark the imagination.

Two events inspired by the the historic 1892 Battle of Homestead bring world-acclaimed actor, activist, theater director, producer and playwright Mark Rylance back to Pittsburgh to share his passion for this pivotal incident in American history.

When Love is Hard

Finally on the Pandora stage, one of the most requested titles in our history. After having an incredibly successful run on Broadway with stars such as Neil Patrick Harris, Michael C. Hall and Taye Diggs, Pandora Productions closes the 16-17 season with: Hedwig and The Angry Inch, book and lyrics by John Cameron Mitchell and music by Stephen Trask.

Folger Theatre concludes its very successful 25th anniversary season this spring with Shakespeare's gripping tragedy Timon of Athens.

HAIL OBLIVION: A Pirate Fantasia, the latest music theater work by composer/lyricist Stephanie Ryan Johnstone and librettist Joshua William Gelb, will be released as a concept album on April 9th with a cast featuring Bryce Pinkham (Gentlemen's Guide, Heidi Chronicles, Holiday Inn), Ato Blankson-Wood (The Total Bent, Lysistrata Jones , Hair), Amber Gray (Great Comet, An Octoroon), Julian Fleisher (February House, Coraline), Rick Burkhardt (Three Pianos), among others.

Standing on Shifting Sands

Artistic Director Tony Prince and Producing Director Richard McGrew are excited to announce the opening of Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies' Tony Award-nominated "Time Stands Still," the final production of the The Liminal Playhouse's second season. 

Exploring a turning point in the career of Britain's greatest land- and seascape painter of the nineteenth century, a major exhibition at The Frick Collection will illuminate Joseph Mallord William Turner's (1775–1851) distinctly modern approach to the theme of the port.

Pandora Productions will announce the 2017-2018 Season when she continues the 16-17 season with: THE NANCE. Set against the backdrop of the world of burlesque, Chauncey finds something he didn't even know he was looking for only to discover that the safe world he thought he inhabited is beginning to unravel.    

Folger Theatre continues its celebrated 25th anniversary season with As You Like It, one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, this classic tale filled with love, laughter, and mistaken identity features original songs composed by Heather Christian and dances by Alexandra Beller. As You Like It is on stage from January 24 through March 5, 2017.

Pandora Productions continues the 2016-2017 season and kicks off the new year with: MY BIG GAY ITALIAN MIDLIFE CRISIS.

Pandora Productions is thrilled to announce that Anthony Wilkinson will be coming in from New York to join us for the Opening Night performance of his play: MY BIG GAY ITALIAN MIDLIFE CRISIS. 'Midlife' is the third in his series of plays following the life and times of Anthony Pinnuziato.
