The production stars Laura Benanti, Shuler Hensley, Cheyenne Jackson,Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey andKevin Vortmann. The Most Happy Fella is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music direction byRob Berman. The Most Happy Fella will run until April 6th.

Tony winner Laura Benanti is soon set to return to the stage in the The New York City Center Encores! production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella- running for seven performances, April 2 - 6, 2014. The production will star Benanti, alongside Shuler Hensley, Cheyenne Jackson, Heidi Blickenstaff, Brian Cali, Bradley Dean, Zachary James, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Jessica Molaskey and Kevin Vortmann. The Most Happy Fella will be directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music direction by Rob Berman. ROCKY hit Broadway last night, officially opening with stars Andy Karl and Margo Seibert at Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre. The show features an original score by Stephen Flahertyand Lynn Ahrens and a book by Thomas Meehan and Sylvester Stallone, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 1976 Oscar-winning Best Picture, Rocky.The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with choreography by Steven Hoggett, and Kelly Devine. ULTRAVIOLET LIVE [UVL] is a New York University tradition showcasing the best of NYU student talent. Preliminary rounds are hosted across the university's campuses in New York, Shanghai and Abu Dhabi and the best 15 acts compete live at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. UVL, sponsored by the Inter-Residence Hall Council [IRHC] and Tisch Alumni Relations, is now in its eleventh year.

Created by the [title of show] team, NOW.HERE.THIS. is a new musical exploring life's big questions with inimitable humor and humanity. The show explores birds, bees, reptiles, early man, ancient civilizations and outer space. Also, loneliness, friendship, hoarding, hiding, laughing, living and dying. And middle school. And dinosaurs. The show concluded its off-Broadway run at the Vineyard Theatre in April 2012.

Tonight, March 1 at 8pm, Heidi Blickenstaff of Broadway's The Addams Family, The Little Mermaid and The Full Monty will sing the lead in the new musical, String, supported by a stellar cast of Broadway actor/singers.

Rachel Potter to Make NYC Concert Return at 54 Below on 2/24

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents X Factor finalist and Broadway's own Rachel Potter. She plans to make her triumphant return to the Big Apple February 24th for a special one-night-only engagement. After starring in The Addams Family and Evita on Broadway, Rachel went on to become a favorite of America on the 3rd season of The X Factor, best known for her rendition of "Somebody To Love," reaching over 9 million views. The country beltress will debut an impressive new catalog of original songs to her New York audience, as well as showcase some Broadway and X Factor favorites.

Weston's New Musical Award Goes to... String

The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company announces Sarah Hammond and Adam Gwon's String as the winner of its eighth annual New Musical Award. Book writer Hammond and composer/lyricist Gwon describe String as 'a musical fable about the three Fates and a fall.' To rehearse, perform and record selections from the new work, Weston has assembled a cast that features Heidi Blickenstaff in the leading role. Blickenstaff (Broadway's The Addams Family, (title of show)) played the role of Diana in Weston's acclaimed 2013 revival of Next To Normal. The cast of String will perform a free public concert at the Weston Playhouse on Saturday March 1 at 8pm.

Ashley Brown, Andrew Keenan Bolger & More Set for 2014 Junior Theater Festival

Tony-nominated composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Andy Jones (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella), Heidi Blickenstaff (The Little Mermaid), Ashley Brown (the original Mary Poppins), Merle Dandridge (Tarzan, Aida), Josh Strickland (the original Tarzan), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies), and Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King), will join 4,500 students and teachers representing 93 groups from 26 states and the District of Columbia at the 2014 Junior Theater Festival, it was announced today by Timothy Allen McDonald, founding Chairman of iTheatrics and the Junior Theater Group. The Junior Theater Festival is being held January 17, 18 and 19 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.
