HADESTOWN has been playing to enthusiastic preview audiences in the Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre in London since November 2 and Press night is set for Tuesday, November 13 at 7pm.

New York Theatre Workshop held it's 2018 Annual Gala last night, April 15. The gala celebrated John Tiffany, the Tony Award-winning Director of Once, which had its world premiere at NYTW, as well as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; along with Barbara Cutler Emden, who is celebrating 25 years of arts advocacy and exceptional service on the NYTW Board of Trustees.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced that its 2017 Gala Evening will honor the award-winning artistry and ground-breaking careers of mother and daughter Phylicia Rashad and Condola Rashad. Just last night, New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) 2017 Spring Gala celebrated partnerships with honorees Dartmouth College, whose residency partnership with NYTW spans a quarter of a century; along with longtime NYTW Usual Suspect and Tony Award-nominated Director Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, War Paint), who was an inaugural member of NYTW's 'New Directors Project' in 1984 and rose to prominence with his direction of Machinal at the Public and Rent at NYTW.

The Works & Process Rotunda Projects Initiative Gala at the Guggenheim Museum raised more than $450,000 in commissioning funds for the Works & Process Rotunda Projects program. Buildingon its long tradition of commissioning performances for the unique architecture of the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Peter B. The Tectonic Theater Project just presented its star-studded one-night-only special benefit reading of Moises Kaufman's GROSS INDECENCY: THE THREE TRIALS OF OSCAR WILDE, the award-winning play about Oscar Wilde and the trials for his 'crime' of homosexuality. All funds raised benefit Tectonic Theater Project and the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission.

Yesterday, November 10, 2014, Theatre Communications Group (TCG) celebrated its annual gala. This year the organization honored Jules Fisher, Lynn Nottage, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. The performances included previews of two productions from TCG Member Theatres: A Walk on the Moon (New York Stage and Film) and Immediate Family (About Face Theatre, Center Theatre Group, and the Goodman Theatre). Sarah Bellamy, co-artistic director of Penumbra Theatre Company, and Kevin Moriarty, artistic director of Dallas Theater Center, succeed Robert Hupp and Lydia R. Diamond as joint vice presidents. Jonathan Moscone, artistic director of California Shakespeare Theater, succeeds Ralph Bryan as secretary. Diane Rodriguez, associate artistic director of Center Theatre Group, and Tim Jennings, managing director of Children's Theatre Company, remain as president and treasurer, respectively.
