Before COVID-19, Adam Lenson was producing SIGNAL, a quarterly concert series in association with H Club London that showcased the best new artist-driven musical theatre. But when forced to cancel their March event, he decided to take the concert online. Fortunately this presented the opportunity to showcase writers from all over the world.

Official: Musical Version of SMASH is Being Adapted for Broadway

SMASH is setting its sights on Broadway with a creative dream team and an official title of SMASH, A New Musical. The news was announced today by Steven Spielberg, Robert Greenblatt and Neil Meron who will serve as lead producers. They are developing a live stage adaptation inspired by the NBC series of the same name on which they all worked together.

This album features Beethoven's Quartet Op. 131 and Ligeti's Quartet No. 1 “Métamorphoses nocturnes.” The album was produced by Grammy Award winner Judith Sherman; engineered by Frank Horger and Graham Duncan with assistance from Jeanne Velonis; and recorded March 15-17, 2019, in Foellinger Great Hall, Krannert Center, University of Illinois, Urbana, IL.

The Old Globe today announced that it is moving the productions in its 2020 Summer Season to the summer of 2021, although exact dates have not been settled upon. The season's titles include a classic American musical, a new adaptation of a 20th century thriller, and two of Shakespeare's masterworks on the Globe's outdoor stage.
