Forget 'defying gravity' … Kristin Chenoweth defies everything, including the laws of nature, in a brand new show conceived specially for Lincoln Center Presents THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.

Triple platinum recording artist Aaron Carter will be performing his final week as Matt in The Fantasticks. His last performance will be on Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Carter is leaving the production to do a national tour.

Highland Hall Waldorf School will present the musical fable 'Celebration.' Performances will be held in Highland Hall's gym at 17100 Superior Street, Northridge, CA tonight, January 25 at 8 pm; Saturday, January 26 at 2 pm and 8 pm; and Sunday, January 27 at 2 pm.

George Dvorsky, who most recently starred in the critically acclaimed revival of CLOSER THAN EVER at the York Theater has joined the cast of The Fantasticks in the role of the narrator El Gallo, as of yesterday, January 21. He replaces actor Richard Roland.

The Gettysburg Community Theatre will kick off their new 2013 season with the musical The Fantasticks (yes that is the way the show title is spelled), which is the world's longest running show. It will play at GCT located at 49 York Street within the first block of Lincoln Square in downtown Gettysburg January 25 and 26 at 7pm and January 26 and 27 at 2pm. Tickets are $15 reserved seating and include a wine reception. Aaron Carter celebrated his 25th Birthday last night, Dec. 7, with fans and the cast of The Fantasticks. Carter stars as the boy Matt in The Fantasticks, the world's longest running musical. After The Fantasticks, Carter graced the audience with a couple of songs on the piano. The cast and fans then sang "Happy Birthday" as Carter blew out candles on his cake and fans swarmed the star with gifts and warm wishes for his 25th birthday. Triple-platinum recording artist Aaron Carter, scheduled to complete his run as Matt in The Fantasticks on October 21, 2012, will remain with the production through January 27, 2013. A new block of tickets is now on sale at Ticketmaster.com.

Ron Bohmer, most recently seen on Broadway in A Little Night Music (Frid), joins the cast of The Fantasticks in the role of the narrator El Gallo on Monday, Oct. 8. He replaces actor Jeremiah James.
