Rose Bridge Theatre Company will present THE FANTASTICKS, directed by Neil Robinson, this today, July 23rd - 27th at the Jermyn Street Theatre, Piccadilly, London.

THE FANTASTICKS is a charming tale of two houses, separated by a wall, in an English town. Narrated by the mysterious El Gallo, we see two neighbouring fathers pretend to feud so that their respective children - one daughter, Luisa; one son, Matt - fall in love. A series of unfortunate events befall the parents and a troupe of travelling 'actors' before the lovers venture out into the world in parallel fantasy sequences and gain a fresh perspective of their love for each other.

TICKETS: £20 / £16 from rosebridgetheatre.com or jermynstreettheatre.co.uk, or on 0207 287 2875.

The Fantasticks, a 1960 musical with music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, is based loosely on Edmond Rostand's The Romancers" ("Les Romanesques") and draws on elements from the story of Pyramus and Thisbe, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
