In response to popular demand, Labyrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director Mimi O'Donnell, Executive Director Danny Feldman) extends the world premiere of Melissa Ross's Nice Girl to June 14. The production, which opens on May 27, reunites the Labyrinth Theater Company member with director Mimi O'Donnell, who worked together on the 2011 production of Thinner Than Water. Called "zesty, muscular and quick-witted," by Time Out New York, Thinner Than Water marked both the playwriting debut of Ross and the directorial debut of O'Donnell.

A Queer Theater Company to Present GRAY, Begin. 1/19

A Queer Theater Company has announced a strictly limited run of their bare bones, developmental production of Daniel Talbott's new drama GRAY, featuring Chris Bellant (Fairfield), Will Pullen (Scarcity, Punk Rock), and Samantha Soule (Killers and Other Family, And I And Silence). The play will be staged for five bare bones performances only at the Susan Batson Studio--300 West 43rd Street, Room 510--January 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, all at 2 p.m.

Producers Darren Bagert, Dan Shaheen, and Ted Snowdon have announced that the hit comedy Buyer & Cellar, starring Michael Urie ('Ugly Betty'), written by Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Stephen Brackett, will transfer to the Barrow Street Theatre for a ten-week engagement beginning tonight, June 18, at 7:30pm and opening Monday, June 24. Tickets go on sale today.

Rattlestick Extends BUYER & CELLAR Through 5/12

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that because of rave notices and sell-out houses, the world premiere of Buyer & Cellar, written by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Stephen Brackett, and starring Michael Urie, will extend for one week, through Sunday, May 12, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South.

Tennessee Williams' favorite among his own plays, the Pulitzer prize-winning Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, is now playing through August 5 on the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival main stage, in rep with Much Ado About Nothing. BroadwayWorld has a first look at scenes the production below.
