Tonight, December 4, 7PM-11PM, the inaugural "Halos and Heartbeats" at The Cutting Room, a holiday spectacular concert & fashion benefit show, will feature headline performances by legendary music icon Emmylou Harris and acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriter Steve Earle. Hosted by Tish and Snooky of Manic Panic, this benefit extravaganza will also showcase the talents of Blue Coupe, Joe Hurley, Eddie Brill (current warm-up comedian for The David Letterman Show), Michael Musto, Murray Weinstock, and other surprise appearances.

The acclaimed Swedish singer-songwriter Elin Ruth released her Bang EP this week (11/27). The four song EP precedes her full length, eponymous US debut which comes out on January 29, 2013. Bang is available for a free download on her Facebook page HERE. You can also purchase the iTunes version HERE that includes a bonus track in which Elin covers Hank Williams' "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive".

Tonight, Tony Bennett will join his good pal Alec Baldwin on the Emmy winning, fan-favorite 30 Rock. Details are all very top secret -- so you'll have to tune in to find out how Tony will be incorporated into this week's installment. Tony has previously proclaimed his love for the sitcom and is thrilled to be involved! The episode is titled 'Mazel Tov, Dummies!' and will air tonight at 8pm EST on NBC.

The inaugural season of the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse's Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival was a success, according to Festival organizers. The Festival, held in Auburn, N.Y., included nine musicals and played a significant role in shaping 20 new musicals during the 2012 season. Downtown Auburn also saw a boost in activity as patrons visited restaurants and spent time in the city.
