Goodspeed Musicals, in association with Jeffrey Finn Productions, will present a star-studded workshop of the The Honeymooners, a new musical based on the legendary CBS television series.
Among the stars in attendance at THE SIMPSONS TAKE THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL live 25th anniversary celebration show last night were Conan O'Brien, Weird Al, Jon Lovitz, and Hank Azaria. Watch as these and more recount their experiences being part of the hit cartoon show and recreate performances from their times on The Simpsons, accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra.
SHOWTIME will launch three companion webisodes for its hit series RAY DONOVAN, giving viewers an extended storytelling experience surrounding fan favorites Lena (Katherine Moennig) and Avi (Steven Bauer) across all digital platforms. Fans will get an inside look on how Ray's (Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominee Liev Schreiber) team pulls off their “fixes,” woven directly from the plotlines on screen. The webisodes, titled “Behind The Fix,” will also feature a special appearance by another of the series' stars, Pooch Hall. Functioning as digital companion pieces to their corresponding episodes, the webisodes will be available on SHO.com, YouTube, iTunes, SHO Sync, SHOWTIME ON DEMAND and SHOWTIME ANYTIME® immediately following the episodes' first airings on SHOWTIME on August 3rdand 17th and September 14th. This marks the first time SHOWTIME has extended episodic storylines across digital platforms, working directly with the series' writers to delve deeper into the content on screen. Written by Cheo Hodari Coker and directed by Oscar® nominee Michael Tolkin, the first installment will give viewers an inside perspective on how Lena gets one of Ray's clients a fake identity to extradite him out of the country.

This fall, FOX attracts an all-star lineup of guest voices on returning animated series AMERICAN DAD, beginning Sunday, Sept. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), with two back-to back episodes; THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and a special one-hour broadcast of FAMILY GUY (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), premiering Sunday, Sept. 28; and BOB'S BURGERS, debuting Sunday, Oct. 5 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT).
Multiple Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria (THE SIMPSONS) has been cast as BUD BUCKWALD, the lead voice role on BORDERTOWN, the new animated comedy from FAMILY GUY's Mark Hentemann and Seth MacFarlane. Azaria joins the previously announced voice cast of Alex Borstein (FAMILY GUY, “Getting On”), Missi Pyle (“Jennifer Falls,” “Gone Girl”), Judah Friedlander (“30 Rock”), Nicholas Gonzalez (SLEEPY HOLLOW) and guest voice Efren Ramirez (“Napoleon Dynamite”).

According to an Equity casting notice, a developmental lab of the new musical version of ANASTASIA -- featuring book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens -- will be held at Pearl Studios this August. Darko Tresnjak is set to direct the project from Stage Entertainment USA, along with musical director Tom Murray.
