THE AMAZING MAX to Bring Magic to NYC Over the Holidays

THE AMAZING MAX, the 'awesome and hilarious live magic show for the whole family' (PBS Kids) starring magician Max Darwin (aka 'THE AMAZING MAX') will return this holiday season for 8 performances only at the Theater at Blessed Sacrament (248 West 71st Street - just East of Broadway). Performances begin on Saturday, December 26 and continue through Wednesday, December 30.

FOX Announces Winter Premiere Dates

As previously announced, SUPERHUMAN airs Jan. 4; THE X-FILES returns Jan. 24 and Jan. 25; and three-hour LIVE musical event GREASE: LIVE will air Jan. 31.

Elena Shaddow and Ramin Karimloo Star in Reading of ANASTASIA Musical in NYC

A staged reading of the new musical version of ANASTASIA -- featuring book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens -- was held New York City last week on June 12. The New York Post writes that THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY's Elena Shaddow played the leading role of 'Anna' in the workshop, opposite LES MISERABLES' Ramin Karimloo as 'Dimitri', her love interest.

McNally, Ahrens & Flaherty's ANASTASIA Musical Gets Staged Reading in June

According to an Equity casting notice, a staged reading of the new musical version of ANASTASIA -- featuring book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens -- will be held on June 12, 2015. Tony winner Darko Tresnjak is set to direct the project, along with musical director Tom Murray.
