Adirondack Theatre Festival is hosting its PB&J Cafe, a dinner theater for kids, with performances of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Performances are Wednesday, July 5-Thursday, July 20 at 12 p.m. in the cabaret space of the Charles R. Wood Theater.

Immigration, the development of Luna Park, and new adaptations of the films Bread and Roses and Teeth are among the subjects explored in this concert celebrating new works-in-process created or co-created by women writers.

Complete casting has been announced for the Good to Go Songwriters' Showcase.

Two-time Tony Award nominee Mary Testa (Queen of the Mist, On the Town), Arielle Jacobs (Wicked, In the Heights), Krysta Rodriguez (The Addams Family, Smash) and Jason Gotay (Bring It On, Spider-Man; Turn Off the Dark) have joined the cast of the Good to Go Songwriters' Showcase.

Vital Theatre Company's production of FASHION ACADEMY, THE MUSICAL will play its final performance next Sunday, February 21st.

The award-winning VITAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the extention of FASHION ACADEMY, THE MUSICAL, a new musical with book by Sheryl Berk and Sabrina Chap and music and lyrics by Sabrina Chap, based on the book Fashion Academy by Sheryl Berk and Carrie Berk, authors of the popular chapter book, Peace, Love, and Cupcakes: The Cupcake Club. Larson-winning, MAC-nominated songwriter Joshua H. Cohen returns to the Duplex with TRUE STORY, Saturday, November 21, 4:30 pm. Cohen dresses down hipsters, hitchhikers, histrionics, and most of all himself, with a baker's dozen of songs inspired by real life, including songbook favorites and brand-new material.

Musical Theatre Factory (MTF) will present a developmental workshop of THE SASQUATCH PROJECT tonight, with book by Nichole Jackson, lyrics by Brandon Michael Lowden and music by Scotty Arnold.

THE SONGWRITERS' SALON, produced by Write Act Rep, John Lant Producing Artistic Director, and conceived and Directed by Colton Pometta, is a cabaret series that will feature 3-5 musical theatre composers and lyricists on the first Thursday of each month. It's a casual and open playground for artists to meet and share new work.

Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2013's Spring Soiree, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night only event will be held on Monday, May 6 from 6pm - 10:30pm, with an 8pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars! Guests will be treated to a sneak peek of songs from upcoming 2013 - 2014 Prospect productions, as well as encore performances from previous Prospect shows. The evening's line up of writers includes work by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen, Peter Mills, and Ryan Scott Oliver, among others.
