TONIGHT, Thursday, May 30, 2013, The Gold Coast International Film Festival is honored to present a screening of the film Portrait of Wally at Great Neck Arts Center, 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck (entrance off Maple Drive). The evening, which is being produced by the Gold Coast International Film Festival and Gold Coast Arts Center (formerly known as the Great Neck Arts Center) in conjunction with the Town of North Hempstead and the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County and is sponsored by the Claire Friedlander Family Foundation, will feature a reception at 6:30pm, film at 7:30 PM followed by a Q&A sessionwith Historian and Author Willi Korte after the film.

No one mines an audience for laughter like Frank Ferrante; the actor/comedian who keeps a crowd in stitches, improvising on a whim. Back in Seattle after last summer's sold-out run at ACT, Frank re-ignites his hilarious tribute performance as Groucho Marx that is partly scripted, partly improvised, and completely ridiculous. Frank Ferrante reprises the critically acclaimed An Evening With Groucho, that amazed audiences and created a buzzing smash hit. Winner of the 1987 New York Theatre World Award, nominee for the Outer Critics Circle Award and Laurence Olivier Award, and well-known for his comic creation 'Caesar' with Teatro ZinZanni, Ferrante is always a sure-fire hit for new audiences and a must-see for comedy lovers.

Seattle Repertory Theatre's full 2013-2014 season was announced today by Artistic Director Jerry Manning. The new season features three world premieres by Northwest writers, two Broadway hits, and the addition of an American classic into the theatre's repertoire. The season will run from September 2013-June 2014.

June brings proven hit shows to the boards with the regional premiere of the Broadway smash success Other Desert Cities, and master comedian improviser and impersonator extraordinaire Frank Ferrante returns for his critically acclaimed tribute to Groucho Marx in An Evening With Groucho. The sizzling examination of modern feminism Rapture, Blister, Burn takes flight in July, and August will see the return of Seattle favorites The Love Markets for their big upcoming CD release. Summer wraps up when new Associate Artistic Director John Langs directs Will Eno's Middletown, a whimsical and curious play that examines a constellation of ideas about life, death, and everything in the middle.

The Gold Coast International Film Festival held a reception and screening of the original West Side Story last night at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway.

Following a sold-out performance, iconic funny man Bill Cosby brings his signature comedy back to the Treasure Island Theatre November 23 at 8 p.m.

The Second Annual Gold Coast International Film Festival presented by the Great Neck Arts Center, with the Town of North Hempstead as Founding Sponsor, will present three new films telling captivating stories with Jewish themes come to Long Island audiences before their national release to American audiences.

Stephen Sorrentino wowed Hollywood with the West Coast Premiere of his hit show VOICES IN MY HEAD. Celebrity guests and fans who walked the red carpet on opening night include Doris Roberts, Joanne Worley, Todd Sherry Ruta Lee, Anne Jeffreys, Joan Kean, Lon Haber and Chuck McCann, as well as legendary Hollywood publicist Ed Lozzi, with Nic Novicki of "Boardwalk Empire" and teen stars and filmmakers Tara-Nicole Azarian, Isabella Palmieri, Allie Carlton, Kiana Lyz Rivera, Trent Carlton and Brandon Tyler Russell.
