Firehouse Theatre begins its summer with a bang as we travel back to the counterculture of the '60s for POP!, a new musical with book and lyrics by Maggie-Kate Coleman and music by Anna K. Jacobs. Directed by Jase Smith (Rocky Horror Show, RENT, Reefer Madness) and sponsored by the Binger Center of Yale Repertory Theatre and The Lewis and Butler Foundation, POP! runs July 11 - August 10, 2013 with an Opening Night performance and reception on Friday, July 12 at 8pm.

Jack trades the family cow for some magic beans, and when those beans grow into a skyscraper-sized beanstalk, he climbs it to find that his giant hosts aren't so scary after all.
