Miami New Drama at Colony Theatre Presents the American Premiere of TERROR

As part of its new permanent residency and management role at Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Miami New Drama officially begins its 2017 season with the American premiere of Terror. The play will be directed by two-time Tony Award-winning Director Gregory Mosher, who is also the former Artistic Director of Lincoln Center in New York City. Under the Artistic Direction of Co-Founder Michel Hausmann, Miami New Drama brings the American adaptation and translation of this German play stateside. The original German version has been translated not only in script, but also to be consistent with American law. Previews for the American premiere of Terror begin January 26, 2017 and the show runs January 28 through February 19, 2017.

Christopher Maring Will Receive 5th Annual T. Fellowship

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces the next T. Fellow is Christopher Maring, the fifth fellow in the one?year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.

Roundabout & Columbia University Will Team Up for Columbia@Roundabout

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) and Columbia University School of the Arts (Carol Becker, Dean of Faculty) have just announced Columbia@Roundabout, an initiative aimed at educating and developing the next generation of playwrights and theatre administrators, as both institutions celebrate their 50th anniversaries. No other collaborative partnership in the New York area brings together an esteemed Ivy League MFA program with a Tony Award- winning not-for-profit theatre. The initiative is made possible by a grant from the Tow Foundation.

Len Cabral & Charlene Carpenzano to Receive 2016 Pell Awards

?At the 20th annual Pell Awards, Trinity Repertory Company will honor local artists Len Cabral and Charlene Carpenzano with Rhode Island Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts alongside previously announced honorees The Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, Laurie Eustis and Elizabeth Chace. The awards ceremony and celebration will be held at Ochre Court on the Salve Regina University Campus in Newport, RI on May 23, 2016. The Arthur Miller Foundation Benefit Adds New Stars

The one-night-only Broadway benefit performance will feature readings from Miller's seminal plays and personal works.
