This year, it presents a trio of concerts featuring seasonal repertoire and contemporary arrangements of carols, including Handel's¬†Messiah,¬†the quintessential classical music highpoint of the Christmas season;¬†Bach's Lobet den Herrn,¬†alle Heiden,¬†BWV 230,¬†Gregg Smith's¬†Twelve Days of Christmas;¬†and Robert Parsons's¬†Ave Maria,¬†to name a few. The Texas State Men & Boys Choir Releases Follow Up To Top 40 Record

In 2016, The Texas State Men's Choir, founded in January of 2015, released its debut record titled 'Prayers, Poems & Promises' which reached #39 on iTunes classical charts in April. With the choir's new treble addition and now renamed The Texas State Men & Boys Choir, they teamed up with The Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir to offer a new Christmas album titled 'Following The Star; Traditional Carols.' 

OGCMA Presents Mendelssohn's ELIJAH

THE OCEAN GROVE CAMP MEETING ASSOCIATION (OGCMA) will present its annual Sacred Masterwork concert on Sunday, August 28th at 7:00pm at The Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. This year's free concert is Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah." OCGMA's Director of Music Ministries, Jason C. Tramm, will conduct the Great Auditorium Choir and guest soloists Monica Ziglar (soprano), Martha Bartz (Mezzo-Soprano), Ronald Naldi (tenor) and Justin Beck (Bass-Baritone), accompanied by the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra and OGCMA's Gordon Turk, Organist-in-Residence. The Great Auditorium is located at 54 Pilgrim Pathway in Ocean Grove, NJ, and is handicapped-accessible.
