Berkshire Theatre Group presents Michael V. Gazzo's A Hatful of Rain, a poignant foray into the devastating effects of heroin in the life of a Korean War Veteran at the Fitzpatrick Main Stage in Stockbridge. Opening Night is August 16 at 8pm. Preview performances begin tonight, August 13 at 7pm and the production closes August 30 at 8pm.

Playwrights Horizons has announced initial casting for its upcoming 2014/2015 Season. The announcement includes casting for the first two shows of the season: initial casting for BOOTYCANDY, the New York premiere of a new play written and directed by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara (In the Continuum, Antebellum, Insurrection: Holding History); and initial casting for GRAND CONCOURSE, the World Premiere of a new play by playwright and two-time Obie Award-winning actress Heidi Schreck (There Are No More Big Secrets, Creature), directed by Kip Fagan (The Revisionist, Asuncion).

The Lincoln Center Theater/ LCT3 production of The Who & The What, by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, has been extended through Sunday, July 27 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65th Street). The Who & The What, which features Tala Ashe, Greg Keller, Nadine Malouf, and Bernard White, was originally scheduled to run through July 13.
