Chicago Fire actor Jeff Lima has partnered with the NYU Tisch School of the Arts to announce a wonderful new opportunity for current students and recent alumni: The Jeff Lima Product Award.
Actor, producer and activist Wilmer Valderrama will headline The ALMAs 2018, a live, televised special celebrating the contributions of Latino artists and influencers. It was also announced today that this year's honorees will include actress and philanthropist Eva Longoria and the cast of Jane the Virgin, including actors Gina Rodriguez, Jaime Camil and Andrea Navedo. Additionally, Parkland survivor and activist Samantha Fuentes and Zero Hour founder Jamie Margolin have been named Trailblazer honorees. The evening will also include performances by Ally Brooke, Amara La Negra and house DJ and FM (Fuse Music) host Cipha Sounds. The ALMAs 2018 will be presented by Fuse and its sister channel FM (Fuse Music) on November 4, 2018 from the event deck of LA Live in DTLA at (8p ET / 5p PT) as a 75-minute special.

All proceeds from the evening's event will be donated to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Texas. With her upcoming tour with British pop trio Years & Years just two weeks away, rising artist CYN has released her latest single, a poignant pop ballad called “I'll Still Have Me.” The new song is paired with a touching and heartfelt music video that sees CYN performing to a community center of seniors. Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are in negotiations to star in directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead's sci-fi thriller SYNCHRONIC. The film will be produced by David Lawson Jr. along with Moorhead and Benson for Rustic Films, with a script written by Benson. XYZ Films is handling international sales, with XYZ co-repping domestic rights with UTA.

The GRAMMY Museum® and Warner Bros. have teamed up to present 'The Get Animated Invasion,' an interactive exhibit that celebrates the music that generations have come to know and love from Warner Bros. iconic animation shorts and films. Warner Bros. has a long history of invading pop culture though music, from popularizing classical compositions to creating mainstream hits that stand the test of time; the latest of which is the animated feature Smallfoot, featuring an all-star voice cast and original music including a new song from Niall Horan. The pop-up exhibit will take over the GRAMMY Museum's second floor, Aug. 19–Sept. 9, 2018, making this Get Animated's second pop-up exhibit following their inaugural invasion in New York last fall.
