Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid) directs a cast that features Josh Grisetti ('The Knights of Prosperity') as David Kolowitz, 'LA Law's' married couple Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker as his parents, Bob Dishy (Tony Award? nominee and Drama Desk Award winner for Sly Fox; Flora The Red Menace, The Price) as Marlowe, and Marla Schaffel (Tony Award? nominee and Drama Desk Award winner for Jane Eyre) as Angela, along with Paul Binotto, Ray DeMattis, Erick Devine, Betsy DiLellio, Gerry McIntyre, Robb Sapp, Emily Shoolin, and Allison Spratt. Matt Castle is the Music Director and performs the role of Roger. ENTER LAUGHING has a book by Fiddler on The Roof's Joseph Stein, based on his 1964 hit play of the same name, with music and lyrics by 'Taxi' creator Stan Daniels. Based on the autobiographical novel by comedian Carl Reiner, ENTER LAUGHING tells the hilarious story of a stage-struck, woman-struck teenager who blunders his way into manhood via showbiz.

ENTER LAUNGHING was visited by Oscar winner Celeste Holm and actor/director Rob Reiner, whose father Carl wrote the book upon which the show is based. Over the weekend, Dr. Ruth Westheimer paid a visit to the new musical 'Enter Laughing', presented by York Theater Company. Dr. Ruth is a sex therapist and author who came into celebrity in the 1980's. She has continued to support the American theater and has participated in several events for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and 'Broadway Barks'.

In support of their beloved Theatre Community, there will be an ongoing Theatre Industry Sunday Sanctuary Series of parties to raise funds for BC/EFA hosted by Broadway's own multi-talented performer and choreographer, Mr. Gerry McIntyre (currently appearing in ENTER LAUGHING at the York Theater Company). The event has been organized by Beth Sheinis, bartender and community activist working at Chelsea Grill.

The YORK THEATRE COMPANY (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) will add a performance of its hit show, ENTER LAUGHING: THE MUSICAL, on Sunday September 21st at 8 pm, in memory of Bruce Adler, who played the role of Forman in York's two previous incarnations of Enter Laughing, The Musical-in the Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series, and in December 2007, when the show was brought back for an additional weekend of performances. Mr. Adler died July 25th of liver cancer; he was 63 years old. 100% of the York's revenues from the performance will go to the Adler Family, supporting an educational fund for his three surviving children.

Wingspan Arts proudly announces its fifth annual fundraising benefit Arts2Life '08, which will take place Monday, May 19 from 6:30-9:30 PM at the Hard Rock Cafe (1501 Broadway). This year the evening's entertainment will celebrate one of Broadway's most beloved and prolific songwriting teams, Kander & Ebb, with performances of well-known songs from shows including Chicago, Cabaret, Curtains and others. On Monday, October 29 at 7PM, comedienne Joy Behar (ABC's 'The View') and Tony nominee Christopher Sieber (Spamalot) co-hosted the second yearly edition of 'An Intimate Salon,' a private benefit event for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
