The NEC Jazz Orchestra celebrates the music of Jazz Studies Chair Ken Schaphorst in their final concert of the season.

In a concert streamed from New England Conservatory, The NEC Jazz Composers' Workshop Orchestra performs music of gifted NEC students performed by their student peers on Tuesday, December 8 at 8 p.m. EST.

A truly star-studded lineup has been set for the upcoming HBO period drama 'The Gilded Age' - including Audra McDonald, Donna Murphy, Michael Cerveris, Debra Monk, Katie Finneran, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Kristine Nielson, and John Douglas Thompson.

Exceptional student ensembles from New England Conservatory's internationally renowned Jazz Studies and Contemporary Improvisation (CI) Departments perform an array of jazz, world, and creative music concerts throughout November. For those missing the Dowager Countess' condescending glares or the evening ring of the dinner bell, there's a new Julian Fellowes drama on tap at NBC that brings an upstairs/downstairs tale Stateside.  

The Mike Stern Band featuring Teymur Phell and Richie Morales will headline the 7th Les Paul Festival Concert at Ramapo College on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Berrie Center's Sharp Theater at 8:00 p.m.  The annual festival celebrates Mahwah resident Les Paul's innovative spirit as a musician and technologist by hosting a week of guest speakers and workshops for Ramapo's music students culminating in a concert for the college and regional community. The Les Paul Festival is presented by the Ramapo College Music Program, the Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, the School of Contemporary Arts, the student-run Ramapo Music Club, and the Mahwah Museum.

BLACK BOX Jazz presents a holiday jazz brunch featuring guitarist Mark White, bassist Mark Poniatowski, pianist Joe Mulholland, drummer Kenny Hadley and friends on Sunday, December 17 at 12:00 noon. Celebrate the season with holiday music favorites while enjoying a light continental brunch.

Celebrate the release of the Mark White Octet's debut recording with a live performance at THE BLACK BOX, downtown Franklin's theater, music and event venue, at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 1.
