Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College welcomes Ballet-th??tre atlantique du Canada, performing the New York City premiere of their full-length contemporary ballet, Don Juan, on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2pm. Set to the music of George Gershwin and featuring costumes by Denis Lavoie (who created Mick Jagger's wardrobe for the Voodoo Lounge tour), the piece takes a fresh and playful look at the legend of history's most infamous lover.

For the fourth consecutive year, The Cleveland Play House presents FusionFest, the only multidisciplinary performing arts festival at a regional theatre in the country, from April 29-May 10, 2009. The festival will offer a sampling of international and 'other-worldly' works, including an ancient Japanese art form, Dogugaeshi, by master puppeteer Basil Twist, performances by Charles Ross of his One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, and a world-premiere adaptation of Thorton Wilder's comic novel Heaven's My Destination, by Tony-award nominee Lee Blessing and commissioned by The Play House expressly for FusionFest with support from The Roe Green Foundation.

Leftfield Productions, Inc. along with Bud Negley, WHY and The Hard Rock Caf? announce that on Thursday, April 30th 'Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway' will perform a fundraising concert in Times Square at the Hard Rock Caf? featuring Broadway's Rob Evan (Jekyll and Hyde), Rita Harvey (Phantom of the Opera), Steve Blanchard (Beauty and the Beast), Carter Calvert (Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), Danny Zolli (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening). The show will be introduced by Charles Grodin with more special guests to be announced.

Producer David Shor has announced he is developing Sleepless in Seattle-The Musical through his entity Sleepless in Seattle Management, LLC. Shor acquired the rights to produce a play based on the hit TriStar motion picture and has brought in his longtime partner Jeff Arch, who penned the film's original story and co-wrote the screenplay, sharing 1994 Oscar, BAFTA and WGA nominations with Nora Ephron and David Ward. Arch will write the book for the show.

Art Garfunkel To Play At Roy Thomson Hall 3/14

Although it has been 35 years since 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' was recorded, Art Garfunkel's image and signature vocal remain among the most instantly recognizable in popular music. His 'beautiful countertenor,' as Neil Strauss described Art's voice in The New York Times, is clear and resonant, surely one of the finest instruments in all of popular music, and a time-honored friend to a world of listeners. Art collaborated with childhood friend Paul Simon, and they started performing as Simon & Garfunkel at the height of the folk music boom in late-1963. Within a year they were signed to Columbia Records, who paired them with producer/engineer Roy Halee. Simon & Garfunkel maintained a tireless pace in the recording studio and on the road, reaching a wide and loyal international audience.
