The MTH Theater at Crown Center has announced casting for AN EVENING WITH GEORGE GERSHWIN, its third Main stage production of the season.

Lynn University and Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, today announced that the popular Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret at Lincoln Center comes to Live at Lynn series will return Jan. 17. Five of Manhattan's leading cabaret shows will be presented Wednesday nights in Lynn's Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall. Season tickets are available at $150, with individual concert tickets only $40.

AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, the most awarded new musical of 2015 and winner of four Tony Awards, will play the Orpheum Theatre for a one-week engagement October 24-29, 2017.

The era of silent film comes alive again at Centenary Stage Company with The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra today, August 5 at 8pm in the Lackland Performing Arts Center as the 2017 Summer Jamfest continues.  Based in Annapolis, MD, The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra has been hailed as 'the premier American ragtime ensemble' by The Washington Post and is rapidly becoming the leading professional ragtime orchestra in the United States.

59E59 Theaters welcomes 59E59 favorites Peter & Will Anderson with SONGBOOK SUMMIT, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers. Produced by Reardon-Anderson Music and featuring jazz vocalist Molly Ryan, SONGBOOK SUMMIT begins performances tonight, August 2, for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 27.

American Composers Orchestra (ACO) announces its complete 2017-2018 season, Dreamscapes, under the leadership of Artistic Director Derek Bermel, Music Director George Manahan, and President Edward Yim, featuring ten world, U.S., and New York premieres by a diverse set of composers. ACO continues its concerts at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall (December 8, 2017 and April 6, 2018) while expanding its presence in New York to include performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center (November 7, 2017) and as part of the 2018 PROTOTYPE Festival (January 12-14, 2018). Internationally acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel brings power and passion to his celebrated Keyboard Conversations-returning to Folsom for his seventh season. Mr. Siegel will celebrate the maestro's 100th birthday on August 26.

This summer, the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America, featuring 115 outstanding young musicians from across the country, comes together for its fifth year of extraordinary music making, culminating in the orchestra's first-ever tour of Latin America. NYO-USA's 2017 Latin America tour takes place from July 26 through August 4 with orchestra performances in Guadalajara, Mexico; Quito, Ecuador; and Bogota, Colombia, including side-by-side musical collaborations with fellow young musicians in all three tour countries.
