The Marsh presents new opening dates for the World Premiere of THE SCION, a tale of privilege, murder, and sausage performed by award-winning performer Brian Copeland (Not a Genuine Black Man, The Waiting Period). Written by Brian Copeland, developed by Brian Copeland and David Ford, and directed by David Ford, THE SCION will be performed in workshop October 4 – 26, 2013 and will receive its World Premiere January 9 – March 1, 2014 (press opening February 1) at The Marsh San Francisco, 1062 Valencia Street.

Award winning choreographers Ann Reinking and Melissa Thodos are teaming again to co-choreograph A Light in the Dark, the story of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, their second full-length contemporary story ballet, this time telling an intimate family story about the extraordinary woman who was deaf and blind yet went on to become a world-famous writer, political activist and inspiration to all.
