Celestial blooms will create a fantastic space-inspired floral fantasy as the Macy's Flower Show, returns in Spring 2019 to celebrate the start of the season. Now through Sunday, April 7, 2019, Journey to Paradisios will transport spectators into a multi-dimensional world of space, adventure, and discovery through florals and eccentrically landscaped gardens that celebrate the wonder and mystery of the cosmos.

JOHN at ArtsWest is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum, nestled in a puzzle. The show is peppered with interesting bits of information, side stories, tangents, and seemingly pertinent details. However most of these bits only serve to fully realize the characters rather than apply to the plot. You can easily find yourself chasing meanings in references that are never explained or even mentioned again. The amount of detail and richness of backstory is amazing. The amount of unanswered questions is frustrating. JOHN is a show rich with characters and short on plot.

Celtic Woman, the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum international music group, returns to North America with a brand-new live show, Ancient Land. The tour comes on the heels of the release of the group's 13th studio album of the same name. Celtic Woman will visit nearly 70 North American cities in 2019 . The group had one performance at Tilles Center Concert Hall on March 20, 2019.

An explosive third and final series of Sky Atlantic's critically acclaimed drama Tin Star has been commissioned. Tim Roth, Genevieve O'Reilly and Abigail Lawrie return as the Worth family in the final chapter of the trilogy, produced by leading independent producers Kudos and Gaumont UK and created by British writer Rowan Joffe. 

On April 5th, multi-instrumentalist, singer and Thundercat-collaborator Louis Cole will release a new EP Live Sesh and Xtra Songs, a collection of six unreleased songs and three live session tracks recorded in a house with a huge big band (heavy on the brass and wind sections) including Nate Wood and Ben Wendel from Kneebody, Jacob Mann, Sam Wilkes and Genevieve Artadi to name but a few.

Long Island's newest theatrical venue The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director) concludes its inaugural season with the hit Tony Award-winning Broadway musical The Producers, with book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and music & lyrics by Mel Brooks. Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is a Major Sponsor of The Producers. Now on stage for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 20, 2019 at The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island) where performances began March 14, 2019. The show opened on March 16.

Gingold Theatrical Group held its Golden Shamrock Gala 2019, honoring humanitarian and award-winning creator of Godspell, Pippin, and Wicked, Stephen Schwartz, on Saturday, March 16th at 3 West Club (3 West 51st Street). Among some surprise guests performers were Stephen Schwartz himself, along with Claybourne Elder, Melissa Errico, and Alison Fraser.

The John W. Engeman Theater presents A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. Performances began on Thursday, March 14 and run through Sunday, April 28, 2019.

The Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse, New York is now delighting audiences with their entertaining and engaging production of Herb Gardner's play I'm Not Rappaport. Impressively directed by Vincent J. Cardinal, the production marks the reunion of Fred Grandy and Ted Lange, castmates of the beloved television series The Love Boat.

Following the success of 'Broadway Against Bullying' nationally renowned non-profit No Bully hosted a one-night-only cabaret 'Broadway Against Bullying” to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.

59E59Theaters presents the New York premiere of Smart Blonde written by Willy Holtzman and directed by Peter Flynn. Produced by MBL Productions and Mary J. Davis in association with Judith Manocherian LLC, Smart Blonde begins performances Saturday, March 16, 2019 for a limited engagement through Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues).

Musicals inspired by the Greek myths are a dime a dozen, and Marcus Stevens' and Oran Eldor's MYTHIC is just another entry in that overpopulated canon. Despite the overzealous ebullience and mirth laced into every track on MYTHIC (Original London Cast Recording), the recording offers nothing more than bland pop schmaltz.

Singer-songwriter Colm Keegan of Celtic Thunder renown brought a brand new solo show, 'The History of Ireland through Music,' to Rory Dolan's in Yonkers on March 6, 2019, at 7:30 PM. Keegan combined a talk about Irish history with performance of songs associated with specific eras and major events throughout Irish history. He gave historical context to all of the songs in the show, and gave his audiences new insight into the stories and the references in the songs.

Artistic Director Sean Hagerty presents the inaugural season of Shakespeare@, launching with a production of HAMLET, with performances beginning Thursday, March 28th. Opening is set for Sunday, March 31st at The Theater at Grace Church Van Vorst (39 Erie Street, Jersey City - a five-minute walk from the Path Train). Directed by Sean Hagerty, HAMLET is set against the stunning architecture of Grace Church Van Vorst, offering a suspenseful reverence, aided by the masterful storytelling of a cast of veteran and rising stars of stage, television and film.
